WORKSHOPS
Exploring performance through the body and play
Rana Teatro offers workshops in physical theatre, movement, and creative performance practice. Our workshops focus on developing presence, clarity, and imagination through the body, drawing from our experience creating and touring internationally.
Our workshops are rooted in play, physical precision, and shared attention — tools that support performers in developing clarity, responsiveness, and creative confidence.
We work with professional performers, students, and emerging artists, adapting each workshop to suit different levels, contexts, and learning environments.
Workshop Themes
Making Sense of Chaos
This workshop explores how performers navigate unpredictability in performance. Through physical exercises and improvisation, participants develop listening skills, ensemble awareness, and the ability to create clarity within complex or unexpected situations. We focus on rhythm, attention, and the relationship between performer, space, and audience.
Character Emergence
A practical exploration of how character develops from physicality. Participants investigate status, attention, and relationships through movement, discovering how small physical choices shape identity and interaction on stage. The workshop introduces tools from physical dramaturgy to support clear and dynamic character work.
Physical Theatre Fundamentals
A general physical theatre workshop focusing on presence, movement quality, and group dynamics. Participants explore physical storytelling, spatial awareness, and collaborative scene-building through structured exercises and creative tasks.
